I have had the pleasure of dealing with New Leaf Homes over the last 5 years, as an overseas landlord, and have received the most professional and courteous service at all times. All the staff are very knowledgeable and experienced and have dealt with every situation that has arisen promptly and without fuss.I would recommend them as a company to do business with anytime.
My wife and I needed to sell our shared ownership house asap in late 2010. Our previous buyers had pulled out and we were due to move into our rental property in December.After trying and failing to sell through the shared ownership websites, we asked New Leaf Homes to Market our house. The house sold within a week! The service did not stop there, as they continued to smooth the exchange and completion between the parties especially as the buyers solicitors were very poor.Thank you New Leaf Homes.
I am writing to thank you and Sarah for your help in progressing the lease option on our house in Brixham, South Devon.After months of shilly-shallying with other agents (and eighteen months of no sensible offers when the house was advertised on a straight sale basis) things really took off when we put finding a tenant buyer in your hands. The new tenant buyers are delighted that they have the opportunity to get back on the housing ladder and we of course are pleased that a house which was costing money is now producing an income and we know exactly how much we will receive when the option to purchase is exercised.It was particularly helpful that you were able to deal both with the tenancy and the option agreement, and to liaise with the appropriate solicitors.Thank you again, and if we have any other similar deals in the future we know where to come.
We needed to sell our property, fast! Seven and a half months on and two agents later we were still looking for a buyer. We were beginning to lose hope until Vivien from New Leaf Homes explained the Lease Option Strategy to us. This created a doorway to enable us to move on with our lives more quickly and suited our circumstances.Due to the slow market for normal buyers we had a 'No Show' at the show day, and the market seemed stagnant! Vivien suggested that we adjust the price slightly and within a day we had two tenant buyers really keen to purchase. The first couple viewed the house and put in a full asking price offer straight away, by the end of the night, all the initial paper work had been done - everyone wins! The sale has solved our immediate needs and there are no fears of a chain falling apart.
We had been renting and have gone through 2 properties in 18 months and we needed some stability for our daughter.Without having enough of a deposit to buy conventionally, we decided to find out what a Lease Option was all about. The agent, Vivien was great and explained the whole process which was simple and an honest way of getting onto the property ladder.After viewing the property we put in an offer immediately, it was signed by the owners 30 minutes later and we celebrated together over a cup of tea; without the fear of being gazumped. The house is ours, we can renovate, add an extension and convert the garage - making it home.
This summer, I had the chance to work with Vivien and Sarah of New Leaf Homes, as part of my Business Management work placement in the UK.As a French student, it was my first experience both visiting and working in England. I realise that as my first working experience I don't have anything to compare it to. However, working with Vivien has been one of the best experiences of my life.In French, we describe excellence quite simply as 'La Creme de la Creme'. New Leaf Homes is and will be the best Sales and Lettings Agency in Guildford because of Vivien and Sarah's determination to transform the way people perceive estate agents.Personally, I cannot thank them enough for their patience, understanding and desire to teach me the skills I will need in the future.Vivien and Sarah, please don't ever change!I will miss you both so much, please know that you are always welcome in my house in France!
